Terms of Service
Welcome to dream-your-travel.com (hereinafter called “The Company”).
The following are the Terms of Service for use of and purchase of any services and/or products (where applicable) from The Company. In addition, use of the dream-your-travel.com website constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms. Furthermore, we may amend the terms at any time and without notice. Finally, your use of this website at any time constitutes your agreement to be bound by the Terms of Service.
Terms of Service Once Itinerary Has Been Confirmed
Bookings & Payment For Trip
Once you have agreed to your holiday itinerary/package, we will invoice 50% of the total value of the trip. This invoice is payable within 3 days of invoice. We will invoice a further 50% which is payable no later than 30 days before commencement of your trip.
For bookings requested less than 30 days prior to departure, the following conditions apply:
1. Deposit
When we make a firm booking with any of our supplier hotels their confirmation constitutes a contract which is subject to their cancellation conditions, not ours. We are therefore liable to pay in full for the accommodation requested. This means that in order for us to confirm a booking within 30 days of your booking request, it is essential that a deposit equivalent to 50% of the package price is made at the time of booking. In the event of us being unable to confirm the requested hotel or an acceptable alternative, this deposit will immediately be refunded in full.
2. Balance
If the relevant third party confirms the requested accommodation, we will send you a written confirmation and invoice. Payment of the balance outstanding is then immediately due. If we do not receive payment of the balance, the deposit will not be refunded.
For bookings made 30 days or more in advance which also involve flight bookings, we will make flight bookings and accommodation reservations. We will then send you a confirmation and an invoice which will remain valid for 3 working days. If this documentation correctly reflects your requirements, you are required to make a deposit payment of 20% within 3 days. This secures your reservation. If you do not have any questions and we do not receive this deposit in time, your reservations are automatically cancelled. This applies especially to certain classes of Airfares where ticketing, and therefore, payment is required within 72 hours to avoid auto-cancellation. Final payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to departure.
3. Cancellation
Cancellation of any Confirmed Booking must be done in writing. Upon receipt, we will confirm the cancellation. If you do need to cancel after making any form of payment and cannot arrange a replacement traveler, then the following penalties will apply:
- 30 days-notice or more = the deposit is forfeited.
- 29 to 21 days-notice = 60% of package price is forfeited.
- 20 to 0 days-notice = 100% of package price is forfeited.
- Should you find someone to replace your booking, we will only charge a change-of-booking fee will be. This fee may have to include any charges raised by the relevant Airline or Hotel for re-issuing of tickets & change of booking class.
- Should you fail to appear for any flight or hotel or trip/excursion booking, no matter what the reason, your failure to appear will be considered a cancellation without notice. No reimbursement will be considered.
Additional Key Points
Force Majeure
In the event of any change, delay or unscheduled extension to the holiday caused by flight delays, bad weather, strikes, riots or any other cause over which we have no control, Dream Your Travel will do everything possible to help mitigate the problem. However, we cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred on your part as a result of the force majeure.
Liability
Dream Your Travel, its employees and affiliates do not accept any responsibility for any client or dependent thereof in respect of any loss, personal injury, damage or theft of property, nor for any inconvenience experienced from time of departure to time of return.
Price
The price quoted is valid at the time of invoicing but is dependent on exchange rate fluctuations and changes in airfares and accommodation rates. Dream Your Travel retains the right to adjust this price in respect of any fluctuations to the above until full payment has been made and all documentation is received. Dream Your Travel guarantees not to surcharge or increase any prices after receipt of full payment and issue of all documentation.
Documents
Once we have received full payment, your travel documents will be issued to you. This may take the form of air tickets and vouchers for the accommodation and services relevant to your trip. Where applicable, a detailed itinerary will be provided.
Insurance
We recommend comprehensive travel insurance. This insurance should provide cover for cancellation and curtailment costs in case you are unable to travel or need to cut your journey short. It should include eventualities such as personal accident and/or medical costs and/or for loss of/damage to luggage.
Limitation of Damages
The Company shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit the Company shall be responsible for replacement costs of item only. The Company shall not in any way be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused.
