Is It Edipsos or Edipsou?
While exploring Greece, you will often hear people referring to Loutra Edipsos as simply “Edipsos”. This is because the word “Loutra” (Baths) is dropped from the name in order to make it shorter and quicker to say.
Furthermore, sometimes you will hear “Edipsou” – don’t let it confuse you … it has to do with how the Greek language “works”.
In other words, whether it is called Loutra Edipsos, Edipsos, Loutra Edipsou, or Edipsou, it is ultimately the same wonderful place.
