Our tour to Meteora takes place once a week.
Our pick-up transfers start at 06:00am from our office in Pefki and then from Neos Pirgos and Loutra Edipsos with destination the port of Agiokampos.
The ferry from the port of Agiokampos departs at 08:00 for Glifa.
Once we reach Glifa, we will need approximately 3 hours to arrive at Meteora.
Halfway along the journey we will have a short stop for coffee and snacks.
We arrive at Meteora around noon.
We will visit two of the main monasteries and the tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please note that depending on the time of the year, there are different monasteries open for the public.
Dress modestly, skirts and long sleeves for women, so bring something to wrap around if you have to. No shorts for men, so bring your long pants please.
The final destination of our “Meteora Tour” is the city of Kalampaka, which is located right below Meteora and offers dramatic view to the rock cliffs.
Here you have 2 hours of free time to explore the city, have lunch, drink coffee, or do some shopping, whatever you prefer.
We meet again at the bus at just before 16:00.
We leave Kalampaka at 16:00.
We will arrive at Glifa port approximately at 19:00 and take the ferry at 20:00.
Then, our team will take you back to the initial meeting points of Loutra Edipsos, Neos Pirgos & Pefki.
